TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
