Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
